Point of Sale
Features
The Point of Sale system is designed for the speed required when entering sales transactions. Function keys on the keyboard can be programmed by each operator for the most common items/services sold during the day. The function keys may also combine multiple transactions for sale at a single keystroke. The Hot Keys and barcodes in the Point of Sale provide a quick entry of all types of fee charges for carts, guest fees, grill items, range fees, rentals, golf and tennis merchandise, and other services that are offered. In addition, manufacturer supplied UPC barcodes may be used for scanning at the terminal.
Fast, Easy, Flexible
All transactions can be scanned into the point of sale terminal by a bar code scanner. Bar code scanning eliminates costly transaction errors. Each transaction by an employee is permanently recorded for future reporting for internal sales contests or commission programs. All member purchases and charges are kept within the system. A Preferred Member listing may be reported and ranked by the total sales of selected categories made during the year. Member sales are also kept by credit book transactions.
The simplicity of the point of sale system dramatically reduces staff training time and provides the operator with tools to make corrections within a transaction in a matter of seconds.
